Crossing the Mighty Mac

Crossing the Mighty Mac

We try to visit Danielle's family in Marquette as often as we can, but until last weekend we hadn't had a chance to make the trip since Thanksgiving. It makes for a short visit, since it usually means driving 14 hours over the course of a weekend. By the time we reach the Mackinaw Bridge, it finally feels like we've escaped the gravity well of southeast Michigan for a while. Here's a quick through-the-windshield view of the bridge all lit up late at night.
