Spring may have come late this year, but summer sure came early. I've never been out skiing quite this early in the season before, but we had to put the ski boat in the lake as soon as the ice melted so that we could go rescue a pontoon boat that had broken away from the beach and floated over to the other side of the lake before the lake froze last winter. So - last Saturday there was still ice on the lake, and this Saturday we're out there putting the dock and the boat in, and it gave me a chance to get an early start on the skiing season.
